Although the builders were supposed to lift the paving slabs and save them, we had little hope in this occuring as the slabs were cemented down. We had a go ourselves as there were some specific slabs we wanted kept.

Before starting the extension, this was the state our patio was in.
A couple of hours of tidying-up and we were left with this.
